Revelations have emerged about the unimaginable extent to which popular Nollywood actress, Fathia Balogun, went to secure the attention and affection of her now estranged husband, Saheed Balogun. An inside source squealed that the light-skinned thespian went as far as abandoning her then lover, Babatunde Shoderu, aka Anchor and the infant son she had for him, Tokunbo, who was only 2 months old at the time, to elope with Saheed, with whom she has now parted ways. The source told us that it all started, when the Yoruba star actress had a chance meeting with Saheed in London at the barbing salon owned by Shoderu, her then lover and baby father, who was said to have taken her to the country. Fathia was said to have been a faithful lover to the guy, until she met Saheed , who used to have his hair cut at the salon, whenever he was in London. She was said to have been swept off her feet, the first time she saw Saheed. She reportedly became obsessed with the smooth-talking actor, when she later met him at the salon, where she too used to work at the time. Not long after they met, Fathia and Saheed were said to have begun a hush-hush affair, unknown to her lover and baby father. The actress was said to have got so carried away with the relationship to the extent that she later abandoned her 2 month-old son with his father to elope with Saheed under the guise of wanting to become an actress. She was said to have later justified her action by referring to the high-handedness of her baby father, who she allegedly described as an abusive lover and a control freak.
